Dr. Peter Eriksson, MD
Family Medicine
Dr. Eriksson joined the Meridian Medical Clinic and Blandin Health Center in March 2008. He has practiced a broad range of family medicine and emergency care throughout Northern Minnesota. Dr. Eriksson treats and cares for patients at every stage of life, from infants to geriatrics. Being a life long Minnesotan, Dr. Eriksson truly enjoys outdoor activities, as well as spending time with his wife and four children.
Dr. Lisa Staber, MD
Family Medicine
Dr. Lisa Staber is a board-certified family doctor who recently moved back to the Grand Rapids area after working in Wisconsin & Upper Michigan the last few years. She has a bachelor’s degree at St. Scholastica in Duluth, a graduate degree at South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD, and attended medical school at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, SD. She completed her residency in family medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis in 2000. Dr. Staber has special interests in women’s health & geriatric medicine. She resides in Grand Rapids with her three dogs, but will soon be joined by her future husband Larry after their October wedding in Duluth, Minnesota.
Lisa Knapp, CNP
Family Medicine
Originally from Bemidji, Lisa brings a wealth of experience and knowledge through her diverse practice settings. Lisa has a very broad background with an emphasis in women’s health, internal medicine, diabetes management, and family practice. She received her Bachelors and Masters degrees at the Metropolitan State University. After 15 years of working and living in the Twin Cities area, Lisa has recently moved back to northern MN to continue her work as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Meeting new people and building relationships with her patients has been very rewarding for Lisa, and has been the primary reason for her choice in the healthcare field. Some of her interests include camping, reading, and spending time with her husband and children. Lisa is also very excited to be expecting her first grand-baby within the next few months.
Trevor Yartz, PA
Family Medicine
Trevor Yartz, a long time resident of Bemidji, Minnesota, began his work as a Physician Assistant in 1992. He practiced in the Bemidji area until February of 2008, when he joined the Meridian Medical Clinic and Blandin Health Center. Yartz finds the challenge of treating every family member and developing partnerships with his patients to be a fulfilling experience. He enjoys outdoor recreation and time with his family.
